JEWELLERY CARE

looking after your jewellery

Silver naturally tarnishes over time and care should be taken to avoid extreme heat, humidity, prolonged sunlight, exposure to chemicals such as bleach or cleaning products.

Ensure you remove your jewellery before bathing, showering or swimming and avoid very hot water.

Be careful not to spray perfume or apply creams directly on the jewellery

To clean:

Wiping clean with a silver cloth after wearing will keep your jewellery sparkling.

To clean intricate jewellery gently lather with silver foam in lukewarm water (not hot) using a soft cloth, sponge or small soft paintbrush for difficult to reach areas and rinse thoroughly. *Care should be taken with friendship bracelets as the leather cord should not get wet.

To keep gemstones clean, wipe with a damp soft cloth and avoid chemical cleaners or polishes.

To clean leather cords, wipe with a soft damp cloth.

Avoid using silver dip or harsh silver polish as these will damage the enamels and gemstones.

Storing your jewellery:

It is recommended that you keep your jewellery stored in its box or other suitable soft lined box or pouch. Avoid storing next to other pieces of jewellery to prevent scratches. Ideally keep it stored in a cool, dry and dark place.
